We Make Things from Scratch

Seriously. No, we don’t get a bunch of frozen dough and roll it out and call it scratch, because that would be wrong. We make pizza dough from flour and yeast and beer. And we stuff our own sausages. Michael Larson

You know what it’s like to have that burning flame inside of you that whispers be more, do more, go, go …? Michael Larson, owner of Digbys, does. He started as a young pup in the salad station of Pronto Ristorante, fresh out of culinary school. It wasn’t long before he was Chef and GM of the place. But it wasn’t enough. During the food boom, Michael rose through the ranks of Parasole, helming many kitchens and crafting lasting relationships with other cooks. As opening Chef/GM of Chino Latino, he met another young pup in Jeff Anderson, a fresh graduate of the California Culinary Academy. The two found they worked well together, with a like-minded drive, so when Michael’s eventual role as VP Culinary led him to choose an Executive Chef for the new Salut on Grand, it was a no-brainer.

Flight For the Fall Fete

A craft beer tasting to benefit the Ordway


Join us at Digby’s in Roseville on Thursday, October 9 from 6-9pm for a beer tasting hosted by the Ordway Circle of Stars. Some of the best craft breweries in Minnesota, including 612 Brewing and Boom Island, have signed on for this exclusive event. Tickets are $30 and include signature appetizers from Digby’s and a sampling of local craft brews. Attendees will also vote for their favorite beer, crowning the “People’s Choice” winner at the end of the night. Full pours of beer and wine will be available for purchase. ID is required at the door. Bring your business card for a chance to win a complimentary pair of passes to the Ordway’s Fall Fête after party, the Retro Fête.


The Ordway Circle of Stars is a volunteer fundraising board that helps the Ordway to offer low-cost tickets and bus subsidies for school children to experience the performing arts.
